Are Pandas Too Loud?

While discussing sneezing baby pandas with some coworkers, someone said that baby pandas will often make loud noises and scare their parents away forever. I found that hard to believe and decided to do a little research. I couldn't find anything to support his claim but did find some information that could have led to his mis-belief.

According to the San Diego Zoo, young pandas do make croaking and squealing sounds. Mature pandas, however, will make bleating sounds similar to a goat.

Also, in the wild, pandas often have twins but usually only take care of one of the young. The other is left to fend for itself.
